Walter Rathie is a Canadian music composer, music producer and arranger. Based in the Toronto area, he has worked on a wide array of projects including documentary television, reality tv, docu-drama, independent film, tv commercials, music CD, corporate video, interactive media and live events.

Composing in a broad spectrum of styles and motifs, Walter constantly draws from his diverse and eclectic musical background to create and produce memorable and dynamic music scores and themes for many successful television series, programs and independent films, and for such broadcasters as CTV, CBC, Canwest Global, Discovery Canada/US, Investigation Discovery, History Channel, OWN, Slice, PBS Network USA, W Network, Animal Planet US & Int’l., National Geographic Channel, TVOntario, TFO, Canal D, Channel 5 UK, Evasion TV, La Cinquieme France.
